Jen started her career in the Australian Public Service working in the Payroll, HR and Financial Management disciplines.

In 1996 Jen worked with Wizard Information Systems heading up the financial systems business consultancy unit. During this time, Jen implemented a number of financial systems installations for Commonwealth Government clients and with the team, provided high level ongoing customer support.

During 2002, Jen set up the ACT office of TechnologyOne. In 2004 she moved to Hobart and took on responsibility for TechnologyOne's Tasmanian office supporting a range of State Government, Local Government and private sector organisations.

In 2008, Jen made the decision to set up her own consultancy company providing support for corporate business systems. Since then, ChartSmart's client base has expanded rapidly. A list of our current clients can be viewed on this site.

Sally-Jane Abigail
Sally-Jane joined ChartSmart in May 2017 bringing a wealth of experience as a CFO and business manager in the local government and non-profit sectors.

A qualified Chartered Accountant for 25 years, Sally-Jane is an accomplished and versatile senior manager with excellent leadership skills, strong technical accounting knowledge, and extensive experience in business management and financial management.

She is a highly regarded professional recognised for excellence in strategy development and stakeholder engagement, effectively bridging the gap between finance and business management.

Sally-Jane’s experience in project leadership and change management, with proven results in managing complex projects, driving change, and achieving organisational growth and improved operational efficiency, enables ChartSmart to provide a whole of business approach to financial system implementations. She is also available for management consulting, business process review and documentation, and assistance to CFOs and business managers in strategic planning.

Guy MontgomerieGuy Montgomerie

Guy brings to the company, extensive experience in the management and development of financial management information systems.

In the mid 90's, Guy was the lead consultant for the implementation of a schools financial system in Tasmania. From that point onwards, he has been consistently involved in the support and development of corporate financial systems - In particular focusing on the TechnologyOne suite of products.

He has a diverse range of experience including project management of FMIS implementations and upgrades, undertaking business research studies, chart design and development, system configuration and training, report development and the provision of system support and administration.

He has worked for a wide range of industries including Commonwealth, State and Local Government, manufacturing, banking, health and not for profit organisations.  His experience has been gained in the ACT, SA, WA, Tasmania and New Zealand.

Richard Reye

Richard Reye
Richard is passionate about assisting organisations in using their financial management information system to its full potential.  Graduating from a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and IT in 2000, Richard went straight into a report writing and system accounting role in the not-for-profit sector and continued with these types of roles, mixed with various levels of management and corporate accounting until 2005.

In 2006, Richard was in Papua New Guinea installing a financial system for a church head office, as well as integrating the 12 regional office financials into the head office system.

Richard joined the ACT office of TechnologyOne on his return to Australia in 2008, initailly as a business consultant and then as a pre-sales consultant. During this time, particularly as a pre-sales consultant, Richard was able to gain an in depth knowledge of many of the TechnologyOne modules including Corporate Performance Management, Customer Relationship Management and Asset Management (Projects).

Richard is a full CPA member.  His strengths include training and presentations, report writing, system configuration and solutioning.  His experience has been gained across the east coast of Austalia as well as Papua New Guinea, El Salvador and New Zealand using a number of different financial management information systems with the most recent focus being on the TechnologyOne suite of products.  Richard joined ChartSmart in 2012.
Chrissy Ashcroft
Chrissy is an experienced accountant and business systems consultant who enjoys partnering with clients to develop sustainable, easy to use solutions to complex business needs.

Chrissy’s professional background includes a range of technical and accounting roles in the public, private and not for profit sector. Her areas of interest include process improvement and solution design, training and development, system implementation and corporate performance management.

Chrissy is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand and holds a Master of Applied Taxation (University of New South Wales) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Australian National University).

Renee Dean
Renee brings to ChartSmart many years of valuable experience gained within the Federal Government financial management arena. Specifically, she has been responsible for delivering high quality financial and accounting services in the areas of FMIS operations, financial statements, assets, budgeting and financial policy.

At a grass roots level, Renee has worked with various clients to assist in software implementations, support and training in relation to TechnologyOne's suite of products (Finance, Procurement, Budgeting and Reporting).

Renee holds a number of formal accounting qualifications and is currently nearing completion of her Master of Professional Accounting.

Gillian Howard
Gillian is an experienced systems administrator whose career has primarily focussed on supporting the Technology One application suite across multiple government agencies over the last seven years.

Gillian’s work has included the development and support of interfaces between financial systems to third party applications such as HRMS systems, Grant Systems, Medical systems etc.

Prior to emigrating to Australia, Gillian’s career was heavily focussed on web-based technologies working with manufacturing companies to implement worldwide e-commerce solutions.  This work covered a range of tasks including analysis, development, testing and implementation. 

Gillian holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computing, with majors including the Management of Complex Projects, and Systems Architecture.

The mixture of IT skills and experience supporting financial systems enables Gillian to communicate effectively with a diverse array of stakeholders (business right through to technical users) to deliver excellent project outcomes.
